Todd's experience will be invaluable to the Redbacks cause this year. Having played in 3 state titles, he will be a calming influence on the side when the pressure builds. A solid rather than spectacular player, Strathearn will earn his stripes bowling at the death of the innings, and batting in one of the pressure spots.
Strathearn has a batting technique purpose-built for indoor cricket. Plays solidly all around the wicket, his greatest strength is the ability to play the ball consistently into the nets, giving fielders no chance of getting the run out. Will be relied on to give the Redbacks a solid foundation on which to build formidable targets.
Stratheran's nagging little inswingers could bring about the death of many a batsman this season. Not quick by any means, Todd relies on getting the ball pitched up on a good length, the letting the sharp inswing do the work for him. Will get considerable movement from the low impact balls used in the under 18's competition.
Strathearn is one of the Redcliffe players
who has not got a permanent spot in the field, however he is most likely to
be used in the frontcourt. Not blesses with outstanding athleticism, Tood does however
keep the game simple and good hand allow him to take the sharp catches.
